Being a graphic designer, I decided to approach my wedding stationery and design just as I would approach a branding project for a client. Before leaping into stationery design, I created a set of guidelines for my wedding “look.” I started with my color palette and then designed my monogram (logo). I wanted to create something glamorous, sophisticated and luxurious.
One of the most challenging aspects of the design was the textural patterns. I wanted a “hand-painted” feel and ended up creating several painted canvases first. Then I scanned the paintings and layered them with gold leaf textures. I really love how they turned out!
