I love spoiling my clients… So much so that I have built my business model around it. Loving on my clients is part of my brand experience. I sprinkle little surprises throughout the Moriah Riona Wedding Experience, from booking to final delivery. However, my favorite “excuse” for spoiling my clients is at Christmas.
Every year I create a new branded holiday theme (which I realize is pretty crazy, because I don’t think anyone appreciates it as much as I do! But it brings me so much joy and has become my own business holiday tradition). Staying on-brand I start with a holiday card design — because I loooooove sending out handwritten holiday cards. Then I design the matching social media graphics, and lastly matching packaging for my client gifts. This year I even made a free download for my blog readers in my 2016 holiday theme — Printable Holiday Gift Tags. Click the link to grab yours!
If you’re a 2016 wedding client, you should have received your gift a while ago — but if not, no peeking! 😉
Because my holiday gifts are another touch point in my client experience, it is very important to me that everything — presentation and contents — remain on-brand. That means that a consistent design is just as important to me as including luxurious and timeless products that represent my brand. For my brides and grooms I really like to celebrate that this is their first “married” Christmas, so as part of their gifts this year, I chose this picture frame Christmas tree ornament from Pottery Barn. I did a little research (by studying their Facebook profile pics) to see which wedding photo was their favorite and had those printed to go inside the frames. Then I wrapped it up in my branded holiday wrapping paper (that I printed on my laser printer). I also ordered greeting cards from moo.com (where every printed item can have a different design). I chose five of my favorite images from each wedding and had them turned into cards for my clients to send out this Christmas. I packaged each couple’s set with a sticker label I designed that says “Spread Cheer.” I also included chocolates and treats for the gift box — but only items that matched my branding (yes… I found black and gold wrapped chocolate!). And lastly, I included one of my own branded Christmas cards.
I hope you enjoyed this little peek into my client experience! If you’d like to download my matching holiday gift tags click the image below:
