we are hiring
We are hiring a freelance junior-level graphic designer at Moriah Riona Branding. This is a virtual (work from home), contract position, as-needed on an hourly basis, at approximately 20 hours per month. This position has the opportunity to grow into a larger/full-time role for the right candidate.

For this position, your main result is to assist the Creative Director in creating high-end branding and online marketing graphics for both the MRB brand as well as clients. You will provide detail-oriented designs with a luxury aesthetic in a variety of formats, including logo and brand system designs, websites and landing pages, social media graphics, presentation slides, interactive PDFs and more.
To create this result
- Use your professional design skills to create exceptional graphics for our own brand and our clients
- Follow brand standards for each individual project, to consistently create brand assets that integrate into and enhance larger brand systems
- Work directly with the Creative Director to provide world-class designs and an exceptional experience for our clients
- Understand the creative vision and own the process for various projects
- Exemplify your skills as a designer and visual communicator in alignment with the agency’s projects and ambitions
- Understand the vital role design plays in the perceived value of brands, goods, and services—as well as the vital role it plays in digital marketing and capturing an audience’s attention
- Exemplify the Moriah Riona Brand aesthetic, with special attention to detail, editorial design style, and a high-end luxury vibe
- Find creative solutions for nuanced projects and problems
- Document behind the scenes processes to showcase the client experience and compile visual documentation for case studies and agency portfolio
- Use expert organizational skills to help manage media assets, schedules and timelines
- Take initiative and own your tasks and the results you are responsible for creating
- Be an excellent communicator
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously

You will
requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design (or related field) and a phenomenal portfolio
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and composition
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively (we have a high standard of excellence)
- Solution oriented (we expect everyone to solve their own problems before asking for help)
- Organized with excellent time management (we expect you to manage your time effectively with rapid turnaround on all projects)
- Detail oriented (we expect the highest quality for our clients and all projects)
- Tech savvy with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools (Illustrator, InDesign, & Photoshop), and the ability to learn new programs quickly
- A sophisticated polish in your work and the way you present yourself (your dress, presentation, communication, etc. should be in alignment with the luxury brands we are building)
- Strong sense of ownership in all work
- Dedication to the company, the team, the clients, and the work
- Aligned with the Moriah Riona Branding design aesthetic and core values
You will be wildly successful if you have or are the following
- Working knowledge of Showit website design platform
