Laguna Beach Portraits

My time here in California is quickly coming to an end and while I’m eager to return to Colorado, there are a few things I am really going to miss. First is the weather, which is pretty much perfect all of the time. As a Coloradoan, It’s actually kind of unbelievable how great (and predictable) the weather is here.
Secondly, I’ll miss the beaches. While I haven’t spent much (ahem, any) time sunbathing on the sand or surfing the waves, I have loved the photo opportunities that this landscape has allowed. I actually have one last beach inspired photo shoot that I will be shooting, this weekend, before we start packing up. With that in mind, I thought I’d step away from the long to-do lists and projects for that shoot and share another beach session with you.
A few months ago I drove down to Laguna Beach in Orange County, California to work with Zoe Productions on an event they produced at the luxurious Sand and Surf Resort. Several of the event attendees had been gifted “beach portraits” and I was their photographer. In total I shot three “mini” sessions – a group of three beautiful grown sisters, a handsome couple, and an adorable family of four.
