For years, I avoided doing a webinar.
I told myself it was too much work… too techy… too stressful. And honestly? I was scared no one would show up.
But a few months ago, I finally decided to go for it—and here’s what surprised me…
Not only did people show up—a lot of people—but I genuinely loved it. I got to connect with my audience in real time, teach something I’m incredibly passionate about, and show up as the expert I am.
And the best part? It led to new leads, new conversations, and yes—new clients for my coaching business.
So if you’ve been putting off doing your first webinar—or you’ve tried before and didn’t get the results you hoped for—this episode is for you.
I’m sharing my top 5 webinar secrets to help you grow your coaching business fast. Think of this as your quick-start guide for using webinars to attract dream clients, build authority, and create real momentum in your business.

The most important part of your webinar is the topic. If you get this right, everything else becomes easier—promotion, attendance, engagement, and even sales.
But here’s where most new coaches get stuck:
They either pick something too broad (like “How to Improve Your Life”) or too disconnected from what they actually offer.
1. Solves a very specific problem your dream client is already aware of
2. Gives a quick win or breakthrough they can experience during the webinar
3. Naturally leads into your paid coaching offer as the next step
Start by looking at your coaching program—or even just the transformation you help your clients get in 1:1 sessions. Ask yourself:
What’s the biggest pain point they come to me with?
What breakthrough usually happens early in our work together?
What do they need to believe or understand before they’re ready to invest?
Those are the moments your webinar should focus on.
You’re not trying to teach your entire process in 45 minutes. You’re giving them a preview of the transformation—and showing them what’s possible.
Let’s look at some webinar topic examples tailored for you, as a new life coach:
If you’re a confidence coach you might try:
“How to Stop Second-Guessing Yourself and Start Taking Action (Even If You’ve Failed Before)”
If you help women with people-pleasing you could try:
“3 Boundaries Every Woman Needs to Set to Finally Prioritize Herself”
If you coach around burnout and overwhelm you could try:
“The Secret to Feeling Like Yourself Again (Without Quitting Your Job or Moving to Bali)”
If you help new moms rediscover their identity:

If you’re a mindset coach:
“Why You’re Stuck (And What to Do to Finally Move Forward)”
See the pattern? Each one solves a real problem, offers a small transformation, and makes the viewer curious about what’s next.
Action Step:
Open your notes and write down the #1 struggle your ideal client is facing right now. Then turn that into a question or promise your webinar can deliver. You only need one great idea to start.
Before you ever go live, your webinar should be working for you behind the scenes. It’s one of the easiest ways to grow your email list—and that list becomes one of your biggest business assets.
Use a signup form or landing page to collect emails. I use Kit for this, and it handles everything—signups, reminder emails, and full email sequences to keep nurturing your new leads.
And yes, that list is yours. Unlike Instagram followers, you actually own your email list—and you can sell to them again and again.
Action Step: Set up a webinar landing page that collects names and emails. Keep it simple. Just headline, date/time, a few bullets of what they’ll learn, and a clear call to action.
And if you really want to kick it up a notch, add a countdown timer to create urgency and get more sign ups — I’ve linked my favorite tools in the description.
Your goal isn’t to overwhelm or impress with everything you know. It’s to guide your viewer through one powerful mindset shift, strategy, or system—and then invite them into the next step.
A simple webinar structure looks like this:
Quick intro (who you are and why you’re here to help)
The training (3–5 simple steps or takeaways)
Client results or stories
The invitation to your coaching offer
Take action now: Outline your webinar training into three core takeaways. These should be actionable and directly tied to the result your offer provides.
This is where most coaches freeze up. But the truth is—if you’ve just delivered incredible value, your viewer wants to know the next step.
Your pitch should feel like the natural continuation of the transformation you just introduced.
You could say:
“If you loved this training, and you’re ready to get real results, I’d love to invite you into my 1:1 coaching program, where we’ll map this out together step-by-step.”
Action Step: Write and practice your pitch. Keep it authentic, simple, and clear.
By the way—if you’re watching this and thinking, “I love this idea, but I don’t have a signature offer yet,” that’s a sign you’re ready for the next level. Inside my program, Dream Client Accelerator, I help coaches do just that.
DCA is for coaches who are ready to take the next step in their business by creating and selling a high-ticket offer. If you’ve already worked with a few clients and are ready to scale with intention, this is for you. Learn more at the link in the description.
Alright, I want to hear from you! Comment, “webinar ready!” on YouTube or DM me on Instagram @moriahriona.
Webinar magic happens after the event. Whether they watched live or caught the replay, most people need a few touchpoints before they’re ready to buy.
That’s why you need a follow-up sequence. Send a thank you email, share the replay, include a summary of the offer, and answer objections in the days that follow.
This is how your coaching program becomes sustainable—not just something you scramble to fill every month.
So take action now: Write a 3–5 email follow-up series that goes out automatically after the webinar. Make it feel personal, helpful, and clear.
