Larissa and Kyle have a special place in my heart. Over the last year and a half, since Larissa first emailed me inquiring about wedding photography, I have had multiple glimpses into the couple’s life and I’ve become a humble witness to their love story. They are the ideal client: gracious, kind, trusting, and madly in love. I am also astounded at their style and ability to bring their wedding to vision to life. Larissa and Kyle’s wedding day was a prayerful and joyful celebration of love, family and new beginnings, and I was beyond honored to be the one chosen to document it.
I had an incredibly difficult time narrowing down my favorite images for this blog post so it is a long one. I stopped counting pictures after one hundred. I’ve decided, to better convey the story of their day, not to include writing or captions through out the post. However, here are a few of my favorite things to be on the look out for:
+ Larissa’s beautiful Essence of Australia gown is convertible. She wore it one way for the ceremony and changed the top for the reception. I loved this unique little detail.
+ The couple was married at Ellis Ranch (the weekend before the terrible Colorado floods) and included all kinds of rustic DIY touches to their day. I was especially smitten with the fashion (cowboy boots included) and décor.
+ Stellar ring and detail shots by my second shooter, Chad.
ENJOY…
Congratulations Larissa and Kyle! Thank you again for choosing me and inviting me into your lives. Thank you also for trusting my vision and working with me for over a year to make this happen. Thank you to my incredible assistant, Chad, as well, who referred Kyle and Larissa to me and who (as always) worked tirelessly to help me achieve that vision.
