In my last post I shared the story of my custom engagement ring and the artist who created it. Today I am excited to share a little peek into the Goldworks studio.

As an artist and designer myself, it was such a joy to not only design my own engagement ring but to also see some of the process behind its creation. I actually took a jewelry design class as part of my art degree from UNC. Though my knowledge and ability are quite limited I certainly have an appreciation for the intricate art of jewelry design. I was happy to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Goldworks studio the last time I was in Fort Collins. I followed Tom Linenberger around as he showed me the various pieces he was working on and the artistic process for his designs.
