Welcome to Superbloom Coach—the podcast for life coaches ready to 10x their business. I’m your host, Moriah Riona, and today’s conversation is one I know is going to land for you if you’re craving more success… but you’re also craving more ease.
Because here’s the truth: a lot of “manifestation” content makes it sound like your dream life is something you have to grip tighter, chase harder, and control more. Yet, the deeper I go in my own work—and the more I talk to powerhouse women who are already successful—the clearer it gets:
Manifestation for success isn’t just about wanting something badly enough. It’s about surrendering in a way that creates space for the right thing to arrive.
In this episode, I sat down with my friend, fellow certified life coach, and client, Brandie Fish—an executive coach for women with a fascinating background in corporate finance. She’s spent 27 years at a major investment firm, consistently ranking in the top tier of performance. Even more interesting, she’s built a career helping high-achieving women create financial freedom and time freedom—through a spiritual approach that actually works in the real world.
So, in these show notes, we’re breaking down the big themes from our conversation: surrender vs. forcing, the role of intuition, the law of cause and effect, detachment, gratitude, and the practical tools you can start using today.

Brandie’s story begins in a place many of my listeners understand deeply—corporate success.
She’s worked in finance for nearly three decades, supporting clients through major life decisions, economic changes, and long-term wealth planning. However, what stood out most was how she described her relationship with time and work.
At the beginning of her career, she worked more traditional hours. Over time, though, she built relationships, created systems, and developed a level of mastery that allowed her to work more efficiently—to the point where she now averages closer to 25 hours a week.
That shift matters because Brandie’s coaching philosophy is rooted in one powerful belief:
Time is the real currency.
Sure, money gives you options. Still, if you have plenty of money but no time to use it, what are you really building?
One of the most important distinctions we talked about is this:
And not only that—they’re frequently living in a cycle of pressure, over-responsibility, and constant mental load.
Brandie put words to something so many women feel:
You’re raising kids, supporting a partner, managing a career, sometimes caring for aging parents… and then you’re supposed to “prioritize yourself” on top of that?
No wonder so many ambitious women are burnt out.
So, when we talk about manifestation for success, it can’t just mean “how to earn more.” It has to include:
Another thread that came up was the idea of chasing external wins—and how, eventually, they stop hitting the same way.
Brandie described it perfectly with a simple example: you get the new car, you’re obsessed for a minute, and then suddenly it’s just… a payment. The dopamine wears off.
That’s not because you’re ungrateful. Rather, it’s because success without meaning is empty.
Eventually, the question becomes:
What am I building all of this for?
For many high-achieving women, the goal shifts from “more” to “better.” More peace. More space. More presence. More choice.
And that’s where manifestation for success becomes less about hustling your way into a result—and more about aligning with what you actually want.
One thing I love about Brandie’s work is how she bridges two worlds that aren’t often brought together:
She explained spirituality in a way that feels grounded and accessible. In other words, you don’t have to think about it in one specific “religious” way.
You can call it:
Whatever language resonates, the concept is the same: there’s a deeper intelligence within you that sees more than your logical brain can see.
Here’s the key idea Brandie shared:
Your higher self knows what’s ahead.
Your present-day mind doesn’t.
So, when you only use logic and fear-based planning, you might choose something that looks right… but isn’t aligned. That’s when you end up in unnecessary struggle.
On the other hand, when you listen to that inner wisdom, you often:
Brandie called it “bypassing detours,” and honestly? That is manifestation for success in the most practical form.
Let’s talk about the heart of this entire episode: surrender.
In the coaching world, we hear a lot about manifestation—vision boards, affirmations, and “act as if.” Brandie isn’t against that. Instead, she offers a deeper distinction:
Brandie used an example that makes this so clear.
Say you want to move and you’ve decided that house is the one. You fixate on it. You push for it. You “manifest” it.
Sometimes, you get it… and then you realize:
Now compare that to surrender.
Surrender doesn’t mean you don’t have preferences. It means you’re open to being guided to what’s best.
Brandie offered language like:
That’s the sweet spot: intention + openness.
So, if you’ve been trying to figure out manifestation for success and you keep feeling like you’re gripping your goals so tightly you’re exhausted… this is your permission slip to loosen your hands without losing your ambition.
We also talked about something that doesn’t get enough attention: attachment.
When you’re attached, you’re energetically saying:
“I need this to happen for me to be okay.”
Even if you don’t mean to, that creates a frequency of lack. You’re focused on not having it, and then you keep proving you don’t have it.
Brandie explained that surrender helps free you from attachment. Even better, she shared a simple phrase you can use when you notice yourself spiraling:
“Free me from this attachment.”
That one line is powerful because it creates awareness. You stop pretending you’re “fine,” and you get honest about the grasping.
Then, from that honesty, you can soften.
Now let’s get into the mindset mechanics.
Brandie brought up the law of cause and effect in a way that’s basically coaching 101—but with a spiritual twist.
Here’s the gist:
So the big question becomes:
Why do I believe what I believe?
Brandie gave examples like the “40-hour work week.” Who decided that was required? Or breakfast being “the most important meal of the day”—a belief many people accept without question.
The point isn’t that those things are wrong. The point is:
Your life is shaped by your beliefs—whether you chose them consciously or not.
And once you see that, your entire relationship with manifestation for success changes. Because you stop waiting for external circumstances to shift, and you start working where the power actually is: your mind.
This part of the conversation felt especially personal for me because it mirrors my own transformation so deeply.
I shared how, in my 20s, I lived in a lot of victim mentality. Life felt like it was happening to me. I was creating results, sure—but not the kind I wanted.
Then coaching came in.
And slowly, over time, thought work gave me something I didn’t realize I was missing:
agency.
Life will still happen. Challenges will still come. However, when you understand that your thoughts create your experience, you stop feeling powerless.
That’s why coaching is so liberating. You realize:
That is manifestation for success without the spiritual bypassing. It’s grounded. It’s real. It’s repeatable.
One of my favorite moments from the episode was when we talked about what to do when you’re in a negative loop and you can’t “think positive” your way out.
Brandie shared a phrase that’s simple but deeply effective:
“I’m willing to see it differently.”
Not “I know the answer”, “I’m perfectly healed”, “I’m above this.”
Just: I’m willing.
Because willingness opens the door. It creates possibility. It invites support—from your higher self, from the universe, from your own nervous system, from your wiser mind.
Then, from that openness, you can ask the next question:
“Show me the next right action.”
And sometimes, the next right action is doing nothing—feeling your feelings, resting, getting quiet, letting clarity rise.
That’s still movement, still success, and it’s still part of manifestation for success.
Brandie introduced a term she uses often: the soul pull.
A soul pull is that physical sensation of being drawn forward—like your higher self is already moving, and your body is trying to catch up.
It’s not always logical. In fact, it often makes no sense on paper.
She shared a story about moving from North Dakota to Colorado right after college:
Yet she felt so pulled that she did it anyway. While driving, she even felt like “someone else was driving the car.” That’s how strong the guidance was.
Years later, she can look back and see: her soul knew.
If you’ve been asking for manifestation for success signs, this might be one: the pull that doesn’t require proof.
Now for one of the most actionable tools from the episode: the God box.
This is a ritual Brandie uses to practice surrender and detachment.
Here’s how it works:
That’s it.
And yes—it’s simple. Yet that’s why it works.
Because it takes the desire out of your mental loop and gives your brain a concrete “closure” ritual. It signals: you’ve handed it over.
Even better, Brandie suggested revisiting the box later to review what manifested and offer gratitude.
Which brings us to the final, crucial piece…
As the conversation unfolded, something became obvious:
Brandie’s work is built on gratitude.
Not performative gratitude. Not “good vibes only” gratitude.
Real gratitude—deep appreciation and reverence for life.
Because when you truly value your life, you stop living like you’re here to suffer through it.
You stop believing your only purpose is to:
Instead, you start asking a more honest question:
What would it look like to build success that I can actually enjoy?
That’s the version of manifestation for success I want for you.
Let’s bring this down to the ground with simple steps you can implement immediately.
If you’re new to surrender work, this is the easiest on-ramp. Pick one desire and put it in the box.
Not 45 minutes. Not a silent retreat. Just five minutes to calm the mind enough to hear yourself.
Consistency beats intensity.
Brandie shared something she’s been doing that helps regulate her nervous system fast: walking barefoot in the grass.
It grounds you. It slows you down. It pulls you out of your head and back into your heart.
Again, nothing dramatic needs to happen. Small rituals practiced regularly create big change over time.
Because ultimately, manifestation for success isn’t about one perfect moment.
It’s about building a relationship with yourself where you listen, you trust, you release, and you act when you’re guided.
If there’s one misconception I want to clear up, it’s this:
Surrender is not giving up.
Surrender is not sitting on the couch waiting for the universe to pay your bills.
Instead, surrender is choosing trust over control—and then staying available for the next right action.
It’s releasing the timeline without releasing the desire.
It’s setting an intention while letting life collaborate with you.
And when you live that way, success stops feeling like something you have to chase.
It starts feeling like something you allow.
