Feeling Lost in Life? This Motivational Post Is for You

Feeling lost in life doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you’re waking up. Learn why this season is the start of your rebrand.

Feb 10

Feeling lost in your 30s—or 40s—wondering how you got here, and why it doesn’t feel like enough?

You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. And you’re definitely not too late.

You’ve just been living a life that was never really yours—built on everyone else’s timelines, rules, and expectations.

But today? That ends.

In this post, I’m giving you the perspective shift, the permission, and the kick in the seat you need to stop spiraling—and start becoming the version of you that you secretly know you’re meant to be.

Because the truth is: you’re one decision away from a completely different life.

And no, you don’t need to burn everything down. You just need to come back to you.

This is your reset, your rebrand. This is your moment.

Let’s begin.

Real quick—before we go any further, I need to speak directly to the woman who is already feeling this in her bones.

The woman whose throat is tight.

Whose chest feels cracked open.

Who’s thinking, “Oh no… she’s talking to me.”

I only take two private coaching clients at a time.

It’s intimate. It’s deep.

And it’s where real reinvention happens.

This work will pull you out of the fog, reconnect you to yourself, and reshape everything from your identity to your daily decisions.

If you’re feeling lost in life and you’re ready to actually find yourself again—not in a cute Pinterest-quote way, but in a real, grounded, life-altering way—Apply now.

Alright. Let’s go.

Feeling Lost in Life Means You’ve Finally Stopped Lying to Yourself

Let’s start with the part no one else will say:

Feeling lost in life is not a breakdown.

It’s an awakening.

You’re realizing the life you built isn’t big enough, bright enough, or honest enough for the woman you’ve grown into.

Suddenly, the things you once tolerated now make you want to crawl out of your own skin.
And for the first time, you’re recognizing that the script you’ve been following was never actually written by you.

If you’re feeling lost in life, it means the old performance is over.

You’re not failing.

You’re waking up.

And I know the exactly what that awakening feels like.

Because mine came in my late twenties, standing barefoot in my parents’ hallway, carrying everything I owned in a few boxes and busted laundry baskets.

I had just left an abusive marriage.

I had no money.

No degree.

No direction.

And no sense of who I even was anymore.

Everyone else my age was moving forward.

Career promotions.

Weddings.

New homes.

Babies.

And I was… back where I started.

Feeling lost in life doesn’t even begin to describe it.

I felt erased.

Like I had messed up so badly there was no way to rebuild.

But here’s what I didn’t realize at the time:

Sometimes your life has to fall apart so you can stop pretending.

The Lie of “Too Late” — And Why You Have to Stop Worshiping It

In that season, I kept hearing the same story on repeat:

It’s too late.”

“You missed your chance.”

“You’re too old to start over.”

“Everyone else is ahead.”

“You screwed up.”

“You’re behind.”

And look, those thoughts didn’t come from nowhere.

They came from a lifetime of programming that told me my worth was tied to doing things “on time.”

Graduate by 22.

Career by 24.

Married by 26.

Kids by 28.

Success by 30.

I did NONE of that “correctly.”

But here’s where the story flips:

The moment I decided to stop believing I was behind

was the moment I stopped being behind.

I re-enrolled in college at 27.

With kids ten years younger than me.

I felt ancient, insecure and I felt like the odd one out.

But do you know what I also felt? Power.

For the first time in my life, I wasn’t doing something because it was expected.

I was doing it because I wanted it.

That’s when I realized:

“Too late” is a story people tell themselves so they don’t have to do the uncomfortable work of becoming someone new.

And I refused to let that story be the author of my life.

Going back to school was my first major rebrand.

I proved three things to myself:

1. I can do hard things.

2. Reinvention is a skill.

3. Age is irrelevant when you’re in alignment.

Since then, I’ve reinvented my life over and over—

Left the “dream” corporate job I hated.

Started a design business in my 30s.

Built a luxury brand.

And at 40, I became a life coach and launched an entire coaching company from scratch.

I rebranded myself again. And again. And again. Which means, I’m a master of reinvention. A master of rebranding—not just on paper, but in identity. Feeling lost in life isn’t a problem. It’s the signal your next version is loading.

When You’re Feeling Lost in Life, You’re Actually Outgrowing Your Old Identity

Let’s talk about the psychology of this. People think “lost” means directionless. But that’s not true. Feeling lost in life means your internal identity has evolved, but your external life hasn’t caught up yet.

It’s the gap between:

Who you were told to be and Who you’re becoming. It’s the moment your soul goes, “We’re done here. It’s time to move on.” You’re not lost. You’re misaligned. And misalignment feels like:

Exhaustion, Boredom, Resentment, Restlessness, Numbness, Overwhelm, which means it’s a secret desire for more.

These are not signs you’re failing.

These are signs you’re expanding.

This means, women feel lost when they’ve outgrown the life they built… but they haven’t stepped into the one they’re meant for.

This is where coaching becomes life-changing.

In private coaching, I help you:

See who you’re becoming

Name her

Own her

And become her

Feeling lost in life is a symptom.

Identity work is the cure.

The Model—The Mindset Behind Reinvention

You know I teach The Model because it’s the simplest way to understand why your life feels stuck—and how to shift it.

Let’s walk through it.

There are 5 lines (just 5!) and each one influences the line below it.

Here’s what they are:

1. Circumstance

2. Thought

3. Feeling

4. Action

5. Result

Right now, if you’re feeling lost in life, you’re not in charge of your own thoughts. So your model probably looks something like this:

C: I’m 30, 35, 40, 45

T: I should be further along by now

F: Shame

A: Buffer, avoid, numb, shrink

R: You stay exactly where you don’t want to be

But here’s the best news. You can CHOOSE your thoughts on purpose. And we do that with an intentional model.

Which can look like this:

C: Same age

T: I’m exactly on time

F: Empowered

A: Make aligned decisions, take action

R: Build momentum and change your life

This is the work we do in coaching.

We rewrite the thoughts that built your old identity—and install the ones that build your future.

You can read books, watch YouTube videos.

You can journal.

But doing this work with a coach?

That’s where transformation becomes inevitable.

If you’re feeling lost in life, it’s because your old thoughts have expired.

It’s time to install new ones.

Why Women Feel Lost: You’re Holding Yourself to an Expired Identity

Here’s the truth, friend:

You’re lost because you’re trying to be the woman you were five years ago.

Maybe it’s the woman society told you to be.
Perhaps it’s the version your job demands you perform.
Or it’s the woman your partner expects you to stay as.

The truth is, you’ve outgrown your old life—but fear is keeping you from stepping into the new one.
Somewhere along the way, people-pleasing quietly became the structure of a life you don’t actually want.
In the process, you’ve learned to live smaller just to keep everyone else comfortable.
At the same time, you’re trying to build a big life from an identity that’s still playing it safe.
And underneath it all, you’re lying to yourself—every single day.

That’s not judgment.

That’s truth.

And the truth is liberating.

Feeling lost in life doesn’t mean something is wrong with you.

It means the life you’re living is no longer right for you.

The old identity has expired—it’s time to retire it.
Your internal brand is ready for an upgrade.
This is your rebrand.

The Rebrand Framework: Reinvention 101

I want to give you a this process, because reinvention isn’t chaos.

It’s clarity.

When I coach women 1:1, this is the framework we use:

STEP 1: Identity — Who am I becoming?

Not who I’ve been.

Not who I’m expected to be.

Who I choose.

STEP 2: Alignment — What is true for me now?

Desire isn’t random—it’s instruction. Dissatisfaction isn’t a flaw—it’s data. Intuition isn’t vague—it’s direction.

STEP 3: Decision — What does Future Me choose today?

Reinvention isn’t one big decision.

It’s thousands of tiny ones.

Identity.

Alignment.

Decision.

Repeat that and your entire life changes.

When you reinvent your identity, your life has no choice but to follow.

You’re Not Behind. You’re Becoming.

Let me say this clearly:

You are not behind, not late, stuck or broken.

You are becoming.

Every version of you that you’ve ever been has gotten you here.

And this version?

The one who feels lost?

This is the most important version of her.
Here, she stops settling for what no longer fits.
Finally, she calls herself out with honesty instead of avoidance.
No longer, she performs for approval or belonging.
Now, she stands at the doorway of a new life.

Feeling lost in life IS the doorway.

Your next identity is the room on the other side.

And you—you are the woman who walks through it.

Time for a Little Tough Love

Now I’m going to say something with love and honesty:

If you are feeling lost in life and doing nothing about it,

you are not stuck—you are choosing stuck.

You’re letting fear drive. Right now, the past is dictating who you believe you’re allowed to become. Instead, your life is being outsourced to expectations that were never yours. You keep telling yourself you’re confused. But you’re not confused.

You’re scared.

Afraid that choosing something different will invite judgment.
Worried that wanting more will make you seem ungrateful.
Terrified that ending the people-pleasing will cost you relationships.
Haunted by the possibility that betting on yourself could end in failure.

Here’s the truth.

Clarity never comes from comfort.
Purpose doesn’t emerge through perfection.
Self-discovery cannot happen while you’re people-pleasing.

Clarity comes from courage.

Purpose comes from action.

Identity comes from decision.

You are not lost.

You just haven’t claimed your life.

First, claim yourself.
Then, honor your desires.
Finally, step into your next chapter.

That is the work.

So if you want my help—if you want deep identity work, reinvention work, and the type of coaching that will reshape your entire life from the inside out—Apply for private coaching, now.

Like I said, I only have room for two clients at a time.

When a spot opens, it’s rare.
